Jill
Practice Manager
A native Michigander, Jill spent nearly 20 years in Colorado including two years in Crested Butte, where she once managed the resort appearance schedule of Olympic Gold Medalist Bill Johnson. She earned her Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration at the University of Denver and spent two years working for Dr. Mahon in Fort Collins. Although she swore she’d never move back to the Midwest, she’s had to eat her words and now operates a snow blower with ease. Her children and pets keep her busy away from the office, and in her spare time she enjoys reading, antiquing and imagining how she might one day actually make some of the recipes she pins from Pinterest.
Melissa
Medical Assistant
Melissa was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin but lived most of her life in Makawao, Hawaii. After moving to the mainland, she spent three years working for Dr. Mahon in Fort Collins and gained extensive experience treating patients with hand and wrist problems. A former soccer player, she is the mother of five and a graduate of College America with an Associate’s Degree in Medical Specialties. She enjoys being close to family who live in Michigan and now understands why Midwestern winters provoke people to comment, “This, too, shall pass”.
Amy
Medical Assistant
A native of South Bend, Amy graduated from Ivy Tech with her Associates Degree in Medical Assisting. She has worked at NIHW for over five years. A sports enthusiast, she enjoys watching her three children play sports and is a die hard Notre Dame fan.
Kathy
Surgery Scheduler
Kathy and her husband, Mike, have lived in Mishawaka for over 18 years. They are originally from Ohio but also spent several years in Texas. Eventually lured back to the Midwest, she has worked for Dr. Mahon for five years. She has three grown children, two granddaughters and loves when they can all be together.
Joy
Front Desk / Insurance Specialist
Joy is a Mishawaka native, a Notre Dame fan, and proud mother of two great kids (not necessarily in that order)! She has been with our office for more than three years. She is a pro at giving directions and can answer nearly any insurance question you have.
